Green Links, Joint Wins | DUPT Football Invitational Wraps Up
Recently, the three-day "2025 DUPT Football Invitational Tournament", hosted by the Trade Union of Dezhou United Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the 5-a-side football field of Dezhou Sports Park. Four teams participated in the competition and exchanged football skills on the same field, including those from Dezhou Investment Promotion Bureau, Dezhou Economic and Technological Development Zone Fire and Rescue Brigade, Dezhou Continental Shelf Petroleum Engineering Technology Corp. and Dezhou United Petroleum Technology Corp. The tournament aims to take football as a link to enrich employees' spare time, enhance team cohesion, deepen corporate culture development, and promote communication and collaboration among local units.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Wang Zetao, Deputy General Manager of DUPT, delivered an opening speech. He stated that football is not only an effective way to strengthen physical fitness and unite teams, but also an important bridge for various units to deepen understanding and forge friendships. He wished all athletes would carry forward the sportsmanship, showcase their skills and demeanor, and jointly present a wonderful, civilized and united football event.
As the referee blew the whistle, the match officially kicked off. On the field, players from both teams were in high spirits, with quick transitions between offense and defense and smooth teamwork. They not only demonstrated exquisite individual football skills but also showed outstanding team collaboration. Throughout the match, the players exchanged skills in the fierce competition and enhanced friendship and rapport through running and sweating, fully embodying the positive, united and forging spirit of enterprise employees in the new era.
The tournament was full of exciting moments. After multiple rounds of intense competition, this invitational tournament concluded successfully. The team from Dezhou Continental Shelf Petroleum Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. claimed the championship of this football invitational tournament, while the team from Dezhou United Petroleum Technology Corp. won the second place and the team from Dezhou Investment Promotion Bureau took the third place.
At the closing ceremony, Mr. Chen Zhen, Director, Deputy General Manager and Chief Financial Officer of DUPT, delivered a summary speech. He pointed out that this tournament not only successfully interpreted the sportsmanship of "friendship first, competition second", but also was a vivid demonstration of DUPT's cultural essence of "striving and competing for victory". He stated that the unity, struggle and initiative shown on the field are the core driving forces for the enterprise's development.
